AbstractIntroduction:Ozonetherapyisatermthatdescribesanumberofdifferentpracticesinwhichoxygen,ozoneandhydrogenperoxideareadministeredbygasorwaterinordertoeliminatediseasescausedbymicro-organisms,improvecellfunctionandpromotethehealingofdamagedtissue.Currentlyozonetherapyisindicatedinpathologiesofvascularandinfectiousetiologysuchas:peripheralarterialdiseases,cerebrovasculardiseases,oculardiseasesandpathologiesoftheinnerearincludingsensorineuralhearingloss,tinnitus,peripheralvertigosyndrome,suddendeafnessandchronicsuppuratedotitis.Objective:Throughaliteraturereview,weintendtostudywhichpathologiesandsymptomsoftheauditorysystemcanbetreatedwithozonetherapy,verifyingitsbenefitsintheshort,mediumandlongterm.Methodology:Thefollowingdatabaseswereconsulted:AcademicSearchComplete(EBSCO);Pubmed,Elsevier-ScienceDirect;WebofScience,Wiley,B-on.,usingthekeywords,Ozone,Ozonotherapy/Ozonetherapy,Deafness,Ménièredisease,InnerearandTinnitus.Afterapplyingtheinclusioncriteria,fivearticleswereconsideredforanalysis.Theselectedarticlesstudiedtheapplicationofozonetherapyinauditorysystemalterations,particularlyincasesofsuddendeafnessandtinnitus.Eachpathology/symptomwasanalysedseparately,analysingthemethodologyofeachstudyandevaluatingtheresultsobtainedineachone.Conclusion:Ozonetherapyisanalternativetreatmentforsuddendeafness,withahighrecoveryrate.However,ithasbeenfoundthatthistechniqueisnoteffectiveintreatingtinnitus.Itisaverysafetechnique,withnosideeffectsorother
